Travel Bucket List

My travel bucket list is endless but these are some that are on the top priority list so far (in no particular order):

  • Art (drawing & painting) holiday on a Greek island
  • Walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain
  • Yoga/ surfing holiday in Nicaragua
  • Ride a bicycle to a ‘cafe’ in Amsterdam
  • Walk the Great Wall of China
  • Visit Angkor Wat at sunrise
  • Gamble and crash a wedding in Las Vegas
  • Sail in Halong Bay, Vietnam
  • Complete the Inca Trail
  • Visit the pyramids in Egypt
  • Enjoy a sunset view from atop a sand dune in Morocco
  • Crush grapes on a vineyard in Mendoza
  • Have a photomontage on the Salar de Uyuni Flats in Bolivia
  • Have a smoothie in Kauai, Hawaii
  • Learn to ski in authentic snow
  • Have a pretzel in Central Park
  • Sky dive somewhere breath-taking
  • Cycle Death Road in Bolivia
  • Watch a Red Sox game in Boston
  • Sample some Turkish tea in Istanbul
  • Sailing holiday in Croatia
  • Visit MOMA and buy a print or postcard
  • Tomato-throwing festival in Spain
  • Go zip-lining in Sint Maarten
  • Cycle through rice paddies in Bali
  • Witness the Northern Lights

Non-destination specific list:

  • Write a book and have it published
  • Accumulate a large sum of money and take my friends on a dream holiday somewhere amazing

To be continued…. Any kind wealthy soul care to sponsor me on one or more of these adventures? I wouldn’t be able to do the above-mentioned activities without writing and photographing my experiences so there would definitely be a few articles published 😉

Great list indeed. Looking at it with great interest I did find this: “Learn to ski in authentic snow”. Snow, ice, cold are not popular in our world. People are generally seeking for sun and fun. So Your comment delighted my mind.

I think that You have never heard about

    World’s biggest Snow Castle

I have visited there during many years and every winter there is a new theme. On Friday, 28 th 2012, I’ll publish how it was this year. Shall I go next year – yes.

    Happy travel and get experiences!

Wow, cool post. I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real hard work to make a great article… but I put things off too much and never seem to get started.
