Bali operates on another frequency. Its people lead simple, traditional lives where they maintain good Karma and are happy, content and grateful. You can feel it as you explore the island and meet warm-hearted Balinese souls.
I crossed paths with these three women amidst their average working day – the first was working in the rice paddies with a group of women, the next woman was walking home after a long day and the third was a grandmother keeping an eye on her grandchildren and livestock in her family commune.
These women value their land, families, traditions and religion. They are not concerned with material things as their Western counterparts usually are.
I think we can learn a lot from them.
