Our Mums & Daughter’s Continental Breakfast Reunion

My Mum, Jackie, and I came up with an idea to host a Continental Breakfast get-together for my friends and their Mums. The last time that most of us were all together was at our Matric Dance before party in 2003.

It was a lovely morning spent outside in the garden catching up with everyone’s news. We sipped on champagne and orange juice while enjoying a delicious continental breakfast spread.

We have four weddings this year which are going to be so special and loads of fun. I can’t wait to see my dear friends walking up the isle 🙂

It has been so special reconnecting with my close friends over the past two months. It’s great when you can pick up where you left off. We have known each others for many years and been at each other’s sides through great and awful times.

And it’s all thanks to our Mums who helped raise us into the wonderful women we are today. Cheers to you, ladies!

Later, my Mum arranged all the beautiful flowers that our friends had brought as gifts. Our naughty cat, Phoebe, was fascinated with one of the pretty flower bouquets and couldn’t resist them. She had to be removed from the vase twice. While my Dad and I were laughing hysterically, I managed to get a photo of Phoebe in action and I absolutely love it!
