Halloween cuisine celebrations aboard M/Y Ememlina

This year’s Halloween wasn’t scary or a typical American trick-or-treat crazy party. Instead, it was a gastronomic celebration of Fall cuisine with a Halloween twist.

Our menu consisted of a batch of Apple and Cinnamon muffins I baked for this morning’s tea break. For lunch, Lizzie made a delish and healthy pumpkin soup filled with other great vegetables such as carrots, parsnips, celery, coriander and more. It was a perfect Fall meal even though it was a scorcher South Florida day.

Tonight I am on watch duty so am watching a movie and enjoying another muffin with a cup of Rooibos Tea.

I’m not such a grandma though –  we got dressed up in some classic wigs on Friday night for a Halloween party at Rybo Marina and had such a fun night.

Happy Halloween everyone!
