Visiting the Baths at Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

I first set eyes on Virgin Gorda from the galley window aboard the yacht I was working on over a Christmas and New Year’s Eve charter. The guests had hopped on the tender boat and were off to see the Virgin Gorda Baths and caves. My crew mates, Ryan and Mini, told me on their return from the Baths just how beautiful they were and how I would enjoy seeing them. I shrugged it off thinking, ‘One day I’ll get there’. A month or two later I was on vacation in Tortola and decided to do a day trip to see the Virgin Gorda Baths. They are definitely worth seeing as you can see in the photos below. The sunlight peeks through the caves and illuminates the aquamarine baths…. nature’s beauty once again amazes me! Spend a day at the Baths, snorkel and relax on the neighbouring beach and enjoy lunch at the Top of the Baths restaurant 🙂
