Sunset wake-boarding in Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten

After wake-boarding for the first time in Sag Harbor USA last year, I have been dying to give it another try in the Caribbean. After work on Friday, I set out to a quiet lagoon spot in Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten, with first mate Ryan and engineer Rolle. The water was a bit choppy due to the wind and my headache from Thursday night activities made me rather clumsy. I got up every time but was a bit of a spastic Bambi wiping out every now and then. It was great fun testing out the new wake-board and the sunset views were spectacular! Hopefully we will get another chance to go out again soon 🙂

  1. Looks like a blast 🙂 I tried it once and was terrible, I can understand the Bambi wipeouts!
